Story
Gartneriet på Jernbanevej 17, af mange kendt som Frausing Borchs Gartneri.
Det blev etableret i 1843 af Hans Madsen, daværende blegemester, i 1874 overtaget af hans søn Mads Nielsen og i 1914 af dennes søn Hans Nielsen. I dets velmagtsdage, omkring 1918, havde gartneriet 1½ td. land ved Smedelundsgade og derudover 6000 kvadratmeter andetsteds. Omkring 1920 overtog Frausing Borch gartneriet og drev det indtil 1963.
Den kendte blomsterhandler Kaj Larsen overtog det derefter, for i 1973 at flytte til adressen Ahlgade 64. I dag har Kaj Larsen Blomster til huse på Lundemarksvej 23 A.
